You just can't react as quick or be as accurate as the other players, so you have to adjust your playstyle to play a little slower, more calculative and smarter with your moves. No matter how awkward it feels, I would totally recommend learning it. Still I decided to finally try it out and started practicing in Co-Op and to my very surprise it only took me like 10 days (not even that many games) to be able to switch back to PVP. I played with controller for like 17 years and kb/mouse always felt completely awkward to me. Only a few months ago I made the switch to kb/mouse, I completely sucked with it before and I expected to need months to learn it. Even on the original things are missing like the commo rose. If you want to try, I made one aswell (xbox though) and probably is the most feature rich and complete config out there. Performance is great compared to release, match queues are short, even with hardcore coop I normally find a match within 10 seconds at any time of the day between 8am and 2am.
